After an up and down season, the Isles’ minor league affiliate Bridgeport Sound Tigers have been officially eliminated from playoff contention after a 4-2 loss to the Providence Bruins. With many of Bridgeport’s best players such as Tanner Fritz, Sebastian Aho, and Christopher Gibson playing in the NHL for an extended period of time, it was hard for them to play well on a consistent basis, as their roster was constantly changing.
One story that many Isles fans followed in the AHL was Joshua Ho-Sang. Josh has played in 45 games for the Sound Tigers, recording 8 goals and 22 assists. Bridgeport still has five games remaining in the season, but they now join the Isles in that they both will not be playing past the regular season.
