The Drive4Five Game of the Month is back for another season!  Tonight, the Islanders look to wrap up the preseason on a high note as they will take on the Rangers at Webster Bank Arena.
So far, the Isles are 4-2-0 in the preseason, beating the Flyers and the Red Wings twice but losing to the Devils and Rangers.
Throughout the preseason, we’ve seen a lot of talent from the Isles prospects and the future is looking bright for the Isles.  Mason Jobst, Noah Dobson, Oliver Wahlstrom have made a great impression on the Isles staff during training camp, making it hard to make the final decision on the opening night roster.  Although, Mason Jobst got sent down to Bridgeport on Tuesday.
The Isles fell to the Rangers on Tuesday night, 3-1, after defeating the Red Wings in overtime the night before.  A majority of the players who played in Monday night’s game, played in Tuesday’s game and fatigue was an issue for the Isles.  They didn’t look sharp nor did they generate enough chances to win the game.
Oh, by the way…that guy the Isles struck out on during free agency (Artemi Panarin), scored twice.
Here are the projected lines for tonight’s game *subject to change*
