Anders Lee has had quite the interesting offseason. With rumors of Artemi Panarin joining the Islanders, Lee’s future seemed in jeopardy.
Neil Sheehy says otherwise. Sheehy represents Lee, and he joined me on Destination Hockey to take a deep dive into the year-long negotiations. Was it just a matter of term? Would Lee have taken a pay-cut if Panarin signed? Did Lee turn down more money elsewhere to re-sign?
Not only will these questions be answered, but we discussed Sheehy’s playing career and life after hockey (it might involve neuromuscular therapy).
On top of that, Scott Wheeler of The Athletic called in to explain the world of NHL prospects. Noah Dobson and Oliver Wahlstrom were highlighted, while the Avalanche’s impressive defense was also discussed.

As always, thank you for listening and be sure to join me next week for another great episode.
